What is a Venture Builder?
A Venture Builder identifies prototypes already meeting the needs of existing users, which have yet to develop the full wrapping required by a medical technology company to turn a promising development into a company.
The role of the venture builder is to be that of both a co-founder and an investor, to help move a venture from its first phase (prototyping) to its next phase (objective validation at a reasonable scale). By doing so, the venture builder derisks the effort, making space for investors who may not traditionally invest in more complex products feel comfortable putting in the capital necessary to make a product available to a mass market.
In our case, we will invest financial capital and the time of our expert team to help product innovators who've developed tools to help improve physical rehabilitation advance towards the clinical validation at the minimal scale necessary to unlock greater investment.
Why a Venture Builder for Rehab?
Despite the rehabilitation sector being quite substantive -- estimated at $50B and projected to grow as people live longer -- it is very, very hard to build a company that can profitably improve on the intensive hands-on 'bands and balls' techniques deployed in rehabilitation centers today.
Unfortunately, given the war in Israel, we cannot afford to rely on business as usual. With over 12,000 wounded already, our rehabilitation services are overwhelmed, and we cannot train enough therapists to address the current and future needs of those who deserve to receive world-class treatment.
Fortunately, the war has inspired hundreds of talented engineers and product managers to develop prototypes and one-offs to support their loved ones as they begin the healing process. Our venture builder is dedicated to ensuring these innovators do not suffer from capital and expertise restrictions, so that they can scale to produce products that help all in need.

Our Mission and Goals
Our mission is to provide a leap forward for Israel’s rehabilitation innovation sector, establishing Israel as a global leader in rehabilitation medicine in order to sustainably meet its rehabilitation needs, and especially those of the wounded from the current war.
To do so we intend to:
- Invest in and professionally support 1 rehab venture per quarter over 3 yrs, 14 total.
- Rapidly advance the technology through clinical validation to derisk the technology and raise a Series A within 18 months.
- Provide on-going professional support to post-A companies to ensure their success.
Can we advance rehab together?
